Background & Education
As a daughter of a sailor, Attorney Hadley spent much of her childhood traveling across the nation. She attended high school in San Diego, California before following in her father’s footsteps and joining the United States Navy at the age of 18. She served as an Electricians Mate (EM1) for 10 active years and was a member of the first group of enlisted women to be assigned to sea duty, where she served on the USS Acadia (AD42) and the USS Puget Sound (AD 38).
Her experience in the military influenced Attorney Hadley to join the local Veterans of Foreign War as their Judge Advocate General, take on the role as a Service Connected Disabled American Veteran, and become a member of the American Legion. She witnessed how difficult military duties can be on a family. The experience taught her perseverance and hard work, skills she now utilizes when defending her clients. It also gives her insight into military families and how to best represent them.
After the military, Attorney Hadley decided to pursue a legal career. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Legal Studies from the University of Houston and went on to obtain a Juris Doctor from the Seattle University School of Law. She was admitted to the Washington State Bar in 1994. At the beginning of her legal career, she served as a Washington State Prosecutor and as the City Attorney for several small cities in Washington.
Having spent the majority of her military career in Florida, Attorney Hadley decided to move to Panama City. She serves on the Board of Governors of the Trial Lawyers Association and can practice in the Federal District Court in the Western District of Washington.
